EDUMi Participates in Bakul Barakah Sentuhan Prihatin Community Initiative

On 5 December 2025, EDUMi reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by participating in the Bakul Barakah Sentuhan Prihatin programme. The initiative was organised by the Jawatankuasa Pembangunan Siswa (JKPS) of Inasis Petronas at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Representing the organisation was EDUMi Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Mohd Aamir Adeeb Abdul Rahim.

Collaborative Support for B40 Students

The programme focused on providing essential support to students from the B40 community within the university. This collaboration between EDUMi and Inasis Petronas UUM highlights the importance of institutional partnerships in addressing the welfare needs of students. By contributing to this initiative, EDUMi aims to alleviate some of the financial pressures faced by students, allowing them to focus more effectively on their academic pursuits.

EDUMi Philosophy on Community Engagement

As a spin-off company of Universiti Utara Malaysia, EDUMi maintains a strong connection to the student body and the academic community. The organisation?s involvement in social well-being programmes is driven by several core beliefs:

  • Collective Impact: The belief that combined efforts from corporate entities and student committees can lead to significant improvements in community welfare.
  • Educational Development: Recognising that social support is a critical component of successful education development, ensuring all students have the resources needed to succeed.
  • Sustainable Growth: Commitment to long-term initiatives that foster a spirit of care and togetherness within the Malaysian education ecosystem.

Ongoing Commitment to Social Well-being

EDUMi continues to seek opportunities to collaborate with student organisations and local communities on meaningful initiatives. Beyond providing international education pathways and professional guidance, the organisation prioritises contributions that have a lasting positive impact on the society it serves.

The success of the Bakul Barakah Sentuhan Prihatin programme serves as a reminder of the importance of corporate and academic synergy. EDUMi extends its gratitude to the organisers and looks forward to future collaborations that champion the well-being and development of Malaysian students.
