Overview
KPTM and UPTM October 2026 Intake: What to Check
The official KPTM admissions portal lists applications for the October 2026 KPTM session from 13 July 2026, with registration on 26 September. It lists UPTM applications from 25 July 2026, with registration on 31 October. Applicants should confirm that their selected programme is offered in the correct session and campus before submitting.
What Should Students Compare?
KPTM and UPTM offer different qualification levels and study fields, so the institution name alone is not enough. Compare the exact programme title, entry requirements, Malaysian Qualifications Register (MQR) status, duration, campus location, learning mode, and complete fee schedule. Professional programmes may also have separate recognition or external examination requirements.
Before accepting an offer:
- Read all offer conditions and payment deadlines.
- Confirm hostel and transport arrangements directly.
- Check PTPTN or MARA eligibility with the funding body.
- Keep copies of the application and all payment receipts.
Financial assistance is not automatic. Students should obtain written confirmation of eligibility, coverage, and repayment or service conditions before relying on external funding.
Where Can Information Be Verified?
Use the official KPTM and UPTM admissions portal, the KPTM website, and the UPTM website.
EDUMi.my can help applicants organise and evaluate their options, while the respective institutions and funding bodies issue final admissions decisions.
