EDUMi.my continues its commitment to making higher education more accessible through its "Study Local & Abroad Made Easy" webinar, held on Sunday, 7 June 2026 via Google Meet.
The webinar was designed to provide students and parents with clear guidance on study opportunities in Malaysia and abroad. It brought together EDUMi.my's leadership team, education experts, industry representatives and financial partners to help participants better understand university pathways, application processes, visa preparation, education financing and career planning.
The session featured EDUMi.my leaders including Hjh. Julie, Head of Admin; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahman, Chief Executive Officer; Maj. Hj. Mahadi RMAF (RTD), Chairman; Dr. Aamir Adeeb, Chief Technology Officer; and Dr. Nora, Head of Education. Their presence reflected EDUMi.my's strong team-based approach in supporting students from the early planning stage until university placement.
One of the main focuses of the webinar was to help students explore top universities abroad across key study destinations such as the European Union, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Ireland. Participants were introduced to different education pathways that may suit their academic background, career goals and financial readiness.
The webinar also highlighted practical topics that are often important for students preparing to study overseas. These included guidance on visa processes, university application flow, education loan options and career opportunities. By covering these areas, EDUMi.my aimed to give students a more complete understanding of what they need to prepare before continuing their studies locally or internationally.
A special sharing session was also included, featuring ground crew experience in Ireland and insights into overseas student life. This session provided participants with real-world exposure and helped them better understand the opportunities and challenges of studying and working abroad.
EDUMi.my also welcomed a guest speaker from Affin Bank, Sr. Officer En. Ifwat Nor Azni, who shared information related to education financing. This segment was especially valuable for students and parents who are exploring suitable financial options to support their study plans.
